The August 2003 and September 2003 minutes were not reviewed. Will be done in November

Coaching Committee.

• Coaching evaluations will be sent out next week (week of 10/13/03), before the season ends for U10 and U11. These two age groups have their festival weekend on October 18th & 19th . Bob will talk to Lisa about the labels and mailing and will work with the coaching committee to get these out next week

• Bob will talk to Andy Pappas and confirm the arrangement for this year. The recollection of several board members was $100 per week (up to $700) for one practice a week and up to two games per weekend plus all games on tournament weekends

Falmouth Fall Classic – Update.

• Ken Alvarez & Phil Bruen - 273 games scheduled over 2 ? days. Things are coming together. With some great new volunteers, there are some new ideas on handling things being implemented this year. They include not having food tickets, which will reduce some volunteer needs, streamlining the souvenir tent with a new checkout system, having the Falmouth Soccer Boosters handling concessions at FCP, not having baked goods but instead pre-package snack items and hot chili and stew, and other efficiency and cost saving changes. There was a discussion on the need for a centralize storage area for all FFC equipment. We lost some items this year with various locations. Returnables/recycleables will be stepped up this year with more clearly marked containers. Website has been helpful but learning as we go with it. Some scheduling issues but being resolved where possible. Discussed the possibility of a storage unit – approximately $70/month. We will all ask around to see if someone has a barn we can use. At the registration table, we will have a sign encouraging people to stay and watch the FHS boys varsity and JV teams play NYA. As long as people identify themselves as attending the FFC, they will get in for free. Set up help is needed on Friday all day. If you have some time, stop by the high school. The November meeting will cover a review of the tournament as well as a discussion about acquiring software for next year.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:59pm.

Next Meeting: November 3, 2003 at 7pm at Norway Savings Bank.
